Arts Month

 

Arts Month in  the Pikes Peak region, held annually in October, shines a spotlight on arts and culture. Organized by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Arts Month  enhances the presence of arts and culture in El Paso and Teller Counties to promote local talent, advocates for the arts, fosters community collaborations, and enhances arts engagement. The call to action is to "Open Your World With the Arts!

Florissant Heritage Day

 

 This annual event celebrates the history and heritage of Florissant with activities such as historical reenactments, arts and crafts booths, live music performances, and local food vendors. Visitors can learn about the town's pioneer roots and cultural traditions. Plan to spend the day in Florissant and celebrate the heritage of this historic town and have fun with the whole family.

Memorial Horseshoe Tournament

 

Florissant often hosts Fourth of July festivities, including parades, fireworks displays, live music, and community picnics, to celebrate Independence Day. Horseshoe tournament double elimination 20 a person signup starts at 10am horshoes fly at 11am. We will have 3 tournaments this year if you participate in all 3 you will have a drawing for a big prize at the last tournament labor day weekend. We will pay out 1st 2nd and 3rd. please contact Phillip Parish if your interested
